My beautiful niece Ellie had her 2nd Birthday party last Saturday. The theme was "The Muppets" and boy did she love it! I was so excited to help her mom with some craft projects and ideas. Ellie was pretty excited too, every time she saw us she would tell us about her Muppet party and cupcakes! Now I have not seen the Muppet movie so Jessie had to clue me in.
We made a birthday banner with my cricut cake machine (this works the same as the expression) and silhouette cameo. It was my first time cutting with the silhouette and I can not praise it enough!
Thanks pinterest for the balloon walkway idea! Helium balloons with
a long string tied to a golf tee and stuck in the ground.
I made this birthday dot garland by punching out circles with my fiskars 1 1/2 inch punch. Next time I would choose a thinner piece of paper because I broke not one punch, but two! Then I hot glued black skinny ribbon from Michael's in between two dots. The ribbon was 10 yards which made these cute swags on the 10x10 tent. I think I am obsessed and now I want to make a garland for every party!
Jesie found these adorable balloons and they fit in just perfectly!
How great is all of this food! Everything was amazing!
I must brag that I have the most talented mother in law! Yes, that is Kermit made out of an apple, marshmallows, and black licorice!
Cupcakes! Ellie and I share a love of cupcakes! I was so excited to make cupcakes for her. They were a Chocolate Cupcake with White Chocolate Buttercream! YUM!!! The topper is made with the fiskars scallop punch and a circle punch with a toothpick in the center.
Jesie and I conquered the Tu-Tu! Ellie loved running through the backyard in it.
Happy Birthday Ellie!
Your Uncle Bri and I cannot wait to see what God has planned for you!
Love, Auntie Em
